Ernie has been the owner and principal of Tektonika Studio Architects since its inception in 1994. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder in Cultural Anthropology in 1978. Upon graduation he served in the United States Peace Corp for two years, teaching masonry at a trade school in Ghana, West Africa. After returning, he entered the University of Colorado, Denver where he received his Master’s Degree in Architecture in 1986. He is a registered architect in the State of Vermont. In his free time he enjoys swimming, biking, skiing and yoga.





Andy is a Senior Designer / CAD Technician contributing well over a decade at TSA.  He received his Bachelor of Architecture from Norwich University School of Architecture and since has enjoyed continued development as a designer and construction document specialist, and in his other varied interests in residential & commercial Architectural practice.  Working with Ernie & other design professionals through the years and as a carpenter and carpenter helper,  he has gained many construction and building skills first hand, while continuing to produce quality design & detailing for TSA’s varied client’s projects.  Being a helpful and supportive TSA team member and by aiding TSA’s clientele to see their desires and dreams come to fruition brings much job satisfaction, as well do his favorite extracurricular activities;  music production, live performance with his various musical projects, home brewing with fellow beer aficionados, snowboarding & splitboarding, mountain biking, hiking, trail & forest stewardship, fishing, and in general fun in the great VT outdoors.
