ERNIE RUSKEY
Ernie has been the owner and principal of Tektonika Studio Architects since its inception in 1994. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder in Cultural Anthropology in 1978. Upon graduation he served in the United States Peace Corp for two years, teaching masonry at a trade school in Ghana, West Africa. After returning, he entered the University of Colorado, Denver where he received his Master’s Degree in Architecture in 1986. He is a registered architect in the State of Vermont. In his free time he enjoys swimming, biking, skiing and yoga.
ANDY SUTPHEN
Andy is a senior draftsperson/designer at Tektonika Studio Architects. He is a native of Vermont, growing up the Burlington area. He enrolled at Norwich University in 2000, and received his Bachelor of Architecture degree in 2009. Andy joined TSA in 2003, bringing knowledge and practical skills that he developed working as a carpenter in the construction industry. He intends to acquire his IDP internship credits towards becoming a licensed architect. Extracurricular activities include music production and live music with his band Hogback, home brewing, hiking, snowboarding, mountain biking, fishing, and in general anything to do with the outdoors.
KIM LIVELLARA
Kim is a senior draftsperson/designer at Tektonika Studio Architects. After growing up on her parent’s sheep farm in the Hudson Valley of New York, she moved to Vermont to enroll in Norwich University, where she graduated with a Master Degree in Architecture in 2003. Kim joined TSA in 2007. Along with her drafting and design skills, she plays a key role in the marketing efforts of the firm. Kim is completing her IDP internship credits towards becoming a licensed architect, and is studying to become LEED, (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), certified. When not at work or serving on the Town of Roxbury’s Planning Board, Kim makes time for her other passions; gardening, animal husbandry, and hiking.
