by Tektonika Studio Architects on June 20, 2013

Stowe, VT – June 17, 2013mike

Tektonika Studio Architects is pleased to welcome a new Project Architect, Michael Perpall, to its staff.  Michael is a LEED accredited professional and also currently holds Architectural licenses in Massachusetts and Vermont.  Joining the TSA team in January of 2013, Michael brings approximately 12 years of experience to the studio.  Professionally his background and experience are in multi-family residential projects, as well as large-scale commercial and hospitality projects.  Michael originally relocated to Vermont in 2010 after having grown up in Falmouth, MA.  Michael, his wife and son are very happy to have set down permanent roots in Stowe and are enjoying calling the welcoming village ‘home’.  Michael obtained a Master of Architecture in 2001 from Tulane University with Honors where he received numerous scholarships and awards for his academic work.  Prior to joining the TSA team he held positions with a variety of award-winning internationally known firms throughout the Northeast such as Yarosh Associates, Woodbrier Associates, Wallace, Roberts &Todd, McManus Architects, Breadloaf Corporation and most recently The Design Group of Warren, VT.  Professionally Michael is interested in the balance of building science and architectural design.  He enjoys paying special attention to building detailing to ensure that all components of the design work well together and do not compromise the energy efficient strategy or the overall design intent.  Outside of the office Michael enjoys the outdoors and those activities that initially drew him to the Green Mountains years ago for routine visits; skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, golfing, kayaking and fishing.
